The number system is helpful, and the staff is half and half. The staff does not take time to explain things or ask the right questions. There is a lot of side conversation behind the main counter. Window 18 staff are very friendly, but that is where it stops. They do have lovely shaded areas outside, for the wait. If they improve their communication skills, this place would be less hectic.
Best dmv location I've ever been to. Fast. My son and I went in without an appointment....we had many steps to our visit, and we still weren't there very long. Test, picture, and all 3 different lines, too
My visit today was great!! I got my drivers license renewed without any problems whatsoever! And everyone that I dealt with there were so nice and funny so I didn’t feel like I was at some Courthouse or in jail! So, all and all I give Yuba City DMV 5+
Showed up about 3:00 p.m. on a Wednesday. Didn't have to stand in line got my number right away. Only had to wait about 30 minutes to be seen and after that it went very smoothly and quickly. Way better then the DMV in Las Vegas!
The DMV opens at 8 am I arrived at 10 minutes till 8 and was number 11 in line and was in and out with registration in hand in about 10 minutes the lady that helped me was nice and friendly as any state office it was clean and shinny way to go staff at Yuba City DMV... Update I went for registration renewal I was in and out in about 10 minutes very friendly staff.
